Custom Tuf-Tex Printing Specifications

Proofs: FREE virtual proofs emailed prior to production
Production time: 5 business days (M-F) from proof approval.
FREE rush service available when possible. During periods of unusually high order volume production times may be extended. Contact customer service to confirm if your deadline is urgent.
Underrun/Overrun Allowance: 10% More:
up to 10% more or fewer acceptable prints may be produced than ordered and orders are billed accordingly. Every effort is made to keep under and overruns as low as possible.
Stock Inks: White, Black, Red, Process Blue, Medium Blue, Reflex Blue. more
additional basic ink colors available for a $20 charge or any custom ink color can be mixed for $25
Second Side Print: no minimum
Second Color Print: 1000 balloon minimum for 9 and 11 inch. Not available on 14, 17, 24 or 36 inch.
Multi-Color Print Registration: Exact color registration can not be guaranteed and colors may shift up to 1/8 inch in any direction.
Print Direction: Neck down more
balloons are printed neck down for helium inflation. Clearly specify if neck up print is required for air inflated hanging use.
Packaging: 9 inch - 500 balloons per poly bag more
11, 14 and 17 inch - 250 balloons per poly bag
24 inch - 100 balloons per poly bag
36 inch - 50 balloons per poly bag
Special packaging available for an additional charge
Sizing: latex balloons are measured by inflated diameter
Finished Print Size: sizes are approximate
9 inch balloons - 5.5 inches x 5.5 inches more
11 inch balloons - 6.5 inches x 6.5 inches
14 inch balloons - 7.5 inches x 7.5 inches
17 inch balloons - 8.5 inches x 8.5 inches
24 inch balloons - 10.5 inches x 10.5 inches
36 inch balloons - 22 inches x 17 inches
Latex balloons are printed when partially inflated with a rubber based ink that stretches with the balloon when inflated. Finished print sizes are approximate maximums. The original scale and dimension of your art will determine the finished print size.
